Our Aquaculture group assists in all aspects of activities within the fish farming industry and within the traditional fisheries. Our main focus is on the rapidly growing fish farming industry in a wide sense, and we provide legal services to farmers, exporters, feed producers and the suppliers of goods and services to the industry, such as equipment suppliers and well boat companies.
With our large specialist departments in Bergen and Trondheim, we have a natural focus towards clients along the entire Norwegian coast, and within the aquaculture business our portfolio includes everything from stock exchange listed companies and their overseas operations, larger regional corporations, as well as smaller, family owned companies and locally owned businesses.
What all these types of businesses have in common is the necessity to deal comprehensively with national and local authority regulations and, furthermore, be advised on the serious consequences in case of infringements of these regulations. We assist our clients in all phases of their necessary contact with authorities and our lawyers have a high competency and keep themselves updated regarding changes in regulations and other requirements for maintaining a successful business in this industry.
